„What makes telehealth work: Insights from Australia and Brazil and ongoing developments in standardisation of telehealth services.“ is an element in the webinar Series on Standards and Accreditation in Telehealth – Raising the Quality Bar.
This webinar series is presented by the ISfTeH Working Group on Standards and Accreditation for Telehealth Services (SATS). Various ISfTeH members who are providing telehealth accreditation and certification, present their programs, combined with experiences from telehealth service providers who have gone through an accreditation process.
In the second edition of this series, Dr. Alan Taylor, Associate Lecturer at Flinders University and Committee Member of the Australian Telehealth Society (national member for Australia in the ISfTeH) outlines the 2021 edition of the ISO telehealth quality standard. He will also discuss why standards by themselves are not enough to ensure telehealth services successfully embed in healthcare systems by drawing on his research in Australia and Brazil.
The webinar will be introduced and moderated by Neja Samar Brenčič, Chair of the ISfTeH Working Group on Standards and Accreditation for Telehealth Services (SATS).
